Anything Goes

First impressions are important

Anything Goes Sign - Winter 1997
Anything Goes
(Completed Winter 1997)

Ensuring a consistent company image

When Anything Goes opened for business in November 1997 the client wanted to ensure that the promotion of the company image would be consistent throughout.

In order to achieve this, we discussed the clients requirements in detail, designed the company logo to match the image which she wanted to portray, and then finalised the details such as the colour scheme.

Choosing the colours from swatches of sign materials allowed us to precisely match the paint colour for the shopfront and the ink and paper colours for the printing of the price cards and company stationery, and also for the plastic bags which we provided as part of the complete package.

Details

Some of the original fascia was in a poor condition and it was imperative that the new sign be constructed from durable materials which would stay looking good for years whilst providing a traditional appearance to comply with the requirements of the conservation area in which the shop resides.  Therefore, the main sign's back panel is actually a plastic material with pressure bonded vinyl to provide the background colour to the sign, and Computer Cut Vinyl for the logo and the lettering.  However, due to the colour match of the paintwork the sign appears to be a traditional painted sign.
